12 May: Clarity of Mind
In this workshop, students will learn how to set your intension and focus on the present moment.
The workshops will provide a discussion around depression and anxiety and will help you simply your goals and internal commentary, checking in with your goals to achieve a balance.
This workshop will be accompanied by a visualization guided mediation and some yoga movement with prompts to notice stories created in your mind.
19 May: Creative Connections - how to feel connected with others
This workshop speaks to experiences of loneliness and supports the creation of connection.
It can be particularly hard being away from our family, so this workshop is as much an opportunity to connect with one another as it is to gain understanding on why it is so challenging to navigate and how you can create connection in your life.
26 May: Managing Stress - the language and the invitation
This workshop speaks to stress as a language. We unpack the way it communicates, our individual response, behavioural activations that prevent unnecessary stress and reactive management tools that you can reach for at any time you are beginning to feel overwhelmed.
You will experience both preventative and reactive stress management tools in the workshop to ensure you feel comfortable calling them forward as needed.
This workshop will provide you with a different perspective on stress, the ability to self regulate and self nurture and the ownership that is your self responsibility to the management of this emotional state that has the potential to be held as illness, disharmony or dis ease if not met, understood, and responded to.
