Did you know the average recruiter only spends six seconds looking at a job application?
This means that one of the most important parts of looking for jobs is making sure your Curriculum Vitae (otherwise known as a CV or résumé) is up-to-date and contains relevant information.
In this free workshop, students will learn about how to best present their CV to potential employers, what employers are looking for when they read a CV, and some common things that should be included and/or avoided in a CV.
Time: 2.00pm - 3.00pm
Date: Thursday 17 September
Venue: StudyPerth Student Hub – basement level, 191 St Georges Terrace, Perth
Register: By 5.00pm, Tuesday 15 September
What to bring: If you have a CV, please bring it with you (either printed, or as an electronic copy). If not, that's OK! Please also bring a notebook (or laptop) to take notes. Pens provided.
